Preferably 4wd so I could play with the Torsion Bars after scrapping the front drive components.

I'll second that vote for the 1st get S-10. But, why not stroke the 350 out to 383?

My first car was an 83 S-10 4x4. It had the 2.8 V6 with a 2bbl carb. I was 17 and just knew I had a FAST truck. I mean, it says V6 on the side so it much be quick, right? Needless to say, I knew nothing about cars at the time. It's amazing how much things have changed. Damn I miss that truck.

I get what you're saying, the kindergarden rule of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'. But at the same time, people on oppo openly bitch about stance a lot and numerous other things. So obviously IMO a car is a valid answer to "what 80s/90s SUV would make the best sport truck".

And besides one person said the bronco and everyone else just copped out and said the same chassis as what you put up there, so Its not like I'm taking up valuable space lol.
